Reacting Adults, Crazy? Mental Breakdown?

Reacting adults, crazy? Mental breakdown? LISAonthego says probably not. Why or when adults have reacted to life situations and are looked upon, as something is wrong with them?

Have you ever been so scared, frightened, fearful not understanding what is happening to you?

And your family and friends say you are not acting like you, some examples could be: you are yelling, crying, hitting, drinking, shopping, sleeping etc. These people have known you your whole life and they start saying what is wrong with you? You are crazy? You need help? Or better yet, they don’t talk to you about you because they think they know better and reach their own conclusion or they talk to everyone else about you or they shut you out with no say.

And you stand their dumbfounded. No one has asked you about you. Then you start talking but remember you are in fear mode, your tone of voice is fearful and you’re scared. The drama and stories are now making sense and time has gone by and there is so much information to tell it’s overwhelming. These people that know you start saying again you need help, your crazy, your mental and you are losing it.

This behavior typically includes others and they are calm and have been expressing their thoughts subtly to others for months and behind your back. Regardless what you say the people that you thought were on your team are now opposed. What do you do?

Reacting adults, crazy? Mental breakdown? These adults are having much drama and life situations happening in their lives and by the time they begin to understand it’s too late. Others have made their judgments and interpretations.

Ask yourself is this the persons typical behavior? Is this who they are and have been all the years you have known them? If your answer is NO then trust yourself to help, be kind, supportive and loving. Some drama stories could be: they are being bullied, alienated by family, friends or co-workers, medical illness, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, someone acting narcissistic to you, failing school, laid off etc.

portrait of a beautiful young girl standing at the window

Also know they’re different scenarios depending on the person from things happening in their own life (being laid off, failing school, ill, etc.) to others inflicting the confusion in your own life (others being narcissistic to you, bullying to you, etc.).

You have now hit rock bottom, tough times and now what?

A family or friend could help by:

  1. Talk to this person and listen, truly listen and understand their current life
  2. Hard to believe their drama or stories ask for the proof
  3. Get to know the story and understand it, you don’t have to accept it, just being understood and listened could help more than you know
  4. Talk to them again and again. Meet them often and talk daily.

***When we are reacting we don’t always make sense. The reacting adult is just putting things together and then too time has now gone by. So much information, drama, stories to tell and it takes your time to listen and understand. Once you understand then help this person with a plan and you are there for them.

  1. Validate the person this utmost importance we all want to know we are cared about, if you don’t mean it don’t do it, this person is already in fear mode
  2. Hug them
  3. Reassure them things are okay
  4. Help find their peace and calm down – meditation, walking etc.
  5. Eat healthy
  6. Suggest Professional help
  7. Group therapy

You have been family or friends for years and this behavior have not occurred before, trust your instincts and knowing your relationship that something is wrong. This person is in fear and reactive mode we all need help from family and friends and be there for them.

Fact, we don’t always understand the whole picture at the time things are happening. It takes time and time does heal all. Remember as a family or friend you have not walked this persons life so don’t assume you know. They’re so many more details that we don’t know or can’t know and we barely learn or see them for ourselves, time eventually shows us.

Sometimes the facts are too much for us to deal with and we need it in pieces and to slowly digest, the pieces of the puzzle eventually are done. This is life, the process and a long journey.

What Kind of Sex do you Like?

LISAonthego went to see 50 Shades Darker she read all three books of 50 Shades because of the hype. The judgments and interpretations of who Christian Grey is or type of personality he is from the books and movies. Also, Anastasia Steel and what is her role with Christian Grey.

What kind of sex do you like?

LISAonthego talks about who you are and what you are. LISAonthego blogs has not talked about what kind of sex you like. Sex is a very personal subject for most people and not discussed. Yet, it’s the one action in life most of us have taken more than once. Did you talk to your partner about your likes and dislikes or talk about contraceptive or talk or type of sex, toys, apparatuses etc.?

LISAonthego Statistic – sex is 100% in your own mind. Someone can’t make you like something, want it more or less or touch you the way you want to be. Sex is 100% of what you like and don’t and what your interpretation of how it could be. Most of sex is in our mind. This is our ego mind our thoughts and some is in our hearts mind feeling the love. Sure LISAonthego could say 20% is on the partners of style, approach and flirtation because we know it plays a role for us.

In 50 Shades (Of Grey and Darker movies) LISAonthego is going outside the box here, aside from their personalities (our judgments) she learned about different types of sex. From contracts to types etc.  She believes Christian and Anastasia through the books and movies are awesome teachers about sex. Physical sex has many definitions from missionary style to kinky sex etc. and one that no one teaches today. When reading the books (imaginary) or seeing the movies (visually) we get to experiences the different types of sex, toys and apparatuses. What are your boundaries and what type of sex do you like? Do you talk to your partner or keep your thoughts to yourself?

What do you want in a relationship? What type of sex do you like?

Christian Grey and Anastasia Steel negotiated their wants and needs. They walked away from the relationship when things didn’t go their way and no communication. Then came back to neutral territory at a restaurant and discussed the issues, negotiated and moved on. In fact the discussions, arguments stayed in the present, no past was brought up into the heavy discussion, as they were resolved. Do you know your partner wants and their needs; do you even know your own?

Sex toys word cloud concept

Sex toys word cloud concept

In fact I found there story a love story in what a relationship; role model could look like. In the book/movies Christian Grey is 26 years and this is when guys start to grow up and discover whom they’re and want to be. The book/movie shows Christian Grey going through the transition. Anastasia is 21 years in the book/movie and coming into her own.

At their ages they knew or thought what they wanted in their lives and as the issues arose during their courtship it solidified their beliefs and their relationship.

What kind of sex do you like? Have a great day. Love, Laughter & Peace, LISAonthego

Positive Mind Shift Starting Today

Positive Mind Shift Starting Today

Lets start a positive mind shift today. This video on What a Valuable Lesson About Mistakes. Always Rise Above by Naga Narahari Rao J is the perfect drama/story to explain why a positive mind shift starts today.

What about the glass being half full; the positive?

When is the good ever pointed out? Most of us notice the negatives and what could change to be different and assuming changing the negative will be better. However when is the positive things we do in life pointed out or praised? On a daily basis we all do more positives than negatives. LISAonthego says daily we do 80% +\- positives in our life, following the rules, taking care of ourselves etc. Yet we don’t take the time to compliment others or ourselves.

When we are taught the glass is half empty we are being taught this is a negative. People love fixing negatives, what we did wrong and how to correct it. This is done by pointing out the negatives, being mean, cruel and criticizing etc. We rarely learn from these ways.

We could learn by our mistakes once we think about it. When the situation or circumstance arise again we could do the same thing with the same mistake or change it.

change-from-your-experience-lisaonthego

Your negative criticism, words, statements, comments etc. doesn’t change LISAonthego; her experience to a situation or event changes her.

We learn by our experience not your negative, degrading words, example: A child, you tell them again and again the stove is hot, guess what? When they touch that hot stove and have their own experience then they could decide to change.

Its time for a mind shift today and to say great job, you did that well, thanks for helping and doing your chores, look what you did well, it helped so many others, you are smart and intelligent, wow check that out. Mind shift praise in what we are doing from our experiences, bet this will get you to change things quicker in feeling good about yourself, a higher self-esteem and being positive.

Time for a mind shift and say a compliment to others and yourself in your everyday life. When we do make a mistake, what was the lesson or experience that you learned? What was the gift? What perspective changed? Did anything else change from this experience? What if we start acknowledging our own experiences and the gifts and feeling good about who we are? Its about time, starting now start acknowledging you and others for all they have done today!!! No matter how big or small, its all the same, you did awesome!!!

How you Talk Impacts Us

How you talk Impacts us

LISAonthego says

how you talk to others impacts us by the tone of your voice, body language, facial expressions, words etc.

LISAonthego has been processing life. Why she likes someone or not, or loves someone or not or both. She realized how people talk to her influences her self-esteem even in adulthood.

When you are a child many people touch your lives in a day: parents, siblings, teachers, classmates, friends, family etc. How they talk and interact with us has an influence in our lives. The people we spend the most time with us do have a huge impact on whom we are.

Listen to the Tone of Voice

How is a parent talking to a child most of the time? Are they using a baby voice? An angry or annoyed voice? A happy voice? These voices influence who we are. We recall how we were talked to. Did you feel love and appreciated? Did you feel you were in the way? Were others spoken to differently?

How are people talking to you in your adult world? Are they appreciative and glad you are present? Do they understand you or just ignore you? Are you a pawn in their lives for their benefits?

How people speak to us and we interpret it during our lives impact us. The tone of voice matters because its sets the tone and attitude of the conversation. Also, know your intuitive feelings are true for you about how someone talks to you. Even when you confront them asking why are you angry? Upset? Sad? Do they speak the truth or lie. Go within and trust your intuition then respond accordingly.

What LISAonthego doesn’t understand why not speak the truth. It’s your opinion, a feeling that is not right or wrong. Some people feel it’s none of their business or don’t want a confrontation or actually some people just like to hear themselves talk and really don’t care what they are saying.

All conversations do influence our lives. It influences who we are, how we view the world, impacts our self-esteem, what we think of ourselves, what others think of us as we become adults we get to change it. Think about it throughout your childhood how were you spoken to: were you loved, put on pedestal, appreciated, valued or you were in the way, others annoyed, frustrated, a nuisance. In our childhood influences who we are and become.

seuss-don-matter

Then comes adulthood and its how we define it.

Yes all conversations have a tone and when people aren’t nice, we do have a choice of how to engage. LISAonthego is learning to love herself regardless how you to talk to her and influence her life. She doesn’t like your tone of voice she changes it in her thoughts to be positive. Much easier said than done. She also has the choice to ignore you, tune you out, not engage, laugh and move forwards. Our attitude also affects how we absorb what others are saying.

LISAonthego loves having choices. When someone is not talking nice to you or respecting her she has a plan so they aren’t affecting her: she could tune them out, disengage, excuse herself etc. This is much easier said than done until you do it often enough then it becomes your life. As the saying goes “fake till you make it” you will make it and its great when you do. Love you by making loving choices for you!

Who is your true Essence?

pivotal moment by LISAonthego

pivotal moment by LISAonthego

Who is your true Essence?

Your True Essence is who you truly are: your morals, values, ethics, attitude etc. When does your true essence come out to play and who you are truly are? LISAonthego says these come out when we are under pressure for example: family events (weddings, funerals), business projects and decisions with deadlines, etc.

come read, watch or listen to Who is your Core Essence below the text? (youtube video below)

Events that push us above our norm and we are out of our routines.

It’s in these situations that our emotions run high and our core essence comes out. Sometimes we even shock ourselves by our reactions. We impulsively yell, sarcastic to others and say hurtful mean things, hit, drink heavily, leave our partners, quit our job etc. we take a negative action. Then come the next day and now the repercussions of our actions.

Or lets look life these circumstances another way. A life situation arises we are left with no material items, clothes, money etc. The worst storm yesterday our homes are inhabitant. Now we are all together in a safe place. Again we are tired and out of our routines, everything we had (material items) is lost, and we have all of our loved ones. These are difficult times. Our core essence of who we are comes out.

We either react or respond. Within days following reactions or response are the repercussions. Reaction is a negative attitude I am miserable and deserve everything. Responding is a positive attitude. They’re going to help others and comfort them.

In either event we are who we are and learn about who we truly are.

pivotal moment by LISAonthego

pivotal moment by LISAonthego

In our lives we all encounter difficult time. Its at these pivotal moments learning who we are and deciding for ourselves saying I like or hate my response or reactions. This is when we analyze ourselves and could make changes for the better.

People could talk to us and talk to us on their perceptions and judgments what they think we need to change. They could keep talking, because how often do you listen? We usually don’t until that perfect storm arise and we experience for ourselves to make the changes in our lives.

Here is the truth, no one has the answers for us, no one is 100% right, it’s you having the experience and deciding when or if to change.

LISAonthego says this has been frustrating in her life, when she sees someone down the wrong path. She expresses herself and to no avail. Why? Because LISAonthego has learned to surrender and let go, people have their own journeys, their own choices and need their experiences to impact their lives and to change. Nothing stays the same.

Your true essence is who you are in difficult situations or events that impact your and others lives.

L.I.D.E. (LEEDY) Part 2 LISAonthego. LISAonthego says L.I.D.E. pronounced LEEDY -stands for labeling, identifying and describing your emotions. On LISAonthego’s journey, she has learned the one simple tool not discussed that helps her on her path and it is called L.I.D.E.

She has learned that feelings and emotions are usually stuffed down. Then we put them into a story. Now we have the story; he said, she said, they did; it’s all out their L.I.D.E. to helps us to bring it to ourselves. This is how we heal and grow in life. However, when we bypass the L.I.D.E. it will come up again and again in our situations and events. There is something we need to learn, By going within on L.I.D.E. we bring it to a light have an aaahh moment, understand it, acknowledge it, let it go and surrender it. This helps us to move forward, change and understand who we are. Isn’t this the point?

Feeling Trapped in Life?

Feeling Trapped in Life

What is feeling trapped in life? LISAonthego says where you feel you are in cage and can’t move. The situation has power over you and is there almost daily. Many things in life could have us feel this way for many reasons here are some examples: Marriage; You want to leave and feel trapped: Financially, Custody, Housing: Job; Financially, Your boss, Difficult to find another job: Family and Friends; Have control over some part of your life that you don’t walk from, Financially, Emotionally.

In each of these categories we could see the reasons. Sure, an easy answer is doing what is good for you and walk away. If you could leave the marriage, get a new job etc. Go for it.

Feeling Trapped in Life? LISAonthego blog

What if you are feeling trapped and its Karma?

Karma is a lesson we came to learn and no matter how hard you try to overcome the situation or events it keeps coming back. You feel trapped in this situation and no you can’t walk from it. It’s the most difficult part of your life. You have expressed yourself, yelled/screamed, jumped up and down, ignore it, nag and nothing works.

In truth feeling trapped has power over you, it controls you and the negative thoughts.

Attitude makes a difference in these circumstances and is our best teachers in life. You feel horrible, your heart doesn’t sing and your ego mind keeps playing the drama. The drama and the stories keep playing and the more you keep doing it, look around the more stories and dramas come.

How to handle feeling trapped and getting your power back?

  • Stop the ego mind thoughts – Pay attention when the negative thoughts start, stop and consciously change these thoughts. Fake it till you make it. This takes time, however you will see by doing this your heart will sing more.
  • Find your peace! However you find your peace, find it. This may mean journaling, exercising, talking, meditating etc.
  • Don’t allow the situation to have control and power over you. Own it and take it back https://spiritualfitnessonthego.com/lisaonthego-lide/ Part 2 https://spiritualfitnessonthego.com/l-d-e-leedy-part-2-lisaonthego/

This is taking back your power.

LISAonthego has lived this drama for many, many years this blog is from life experience and yes feeling trapped karma. Finally after all the years, it’s done! Hooray! Its not easy, its really difficult and once I surrendered to peace and took my power back, it all changed.

She will now tell you those were her best teachers and yes more than one teacher, in fact many. LISAonthego was great at drama and stories and the universe supporting it. Wow, it’s amazing how it kept coming around until FINALLY she learned to take her power and be in her peace. The universe does test LISAonthego and it’s a reminder to go within. The tools and activities on www.spiritualfitnessonthego.com helped LISAonthego find who she is.

Good Luck to you, LISAonthego

Are you your Authentic Self?

Are you your authentic self?

video below text to watch or listen

We have many influences in our lives. As a child LISAonthego was influenced by authority figures and would act accordingly for many years. She was not her authentic self and went along with the flow. Guess what, this doesn’t work well.

Getting to know your Authentic Self is process.

It takes time. As we gain more life experience and the rollercoaster of ups and downs is when we learn about ourselves. LISAonthego has been on many rollercoaster rides and this impacted her life. The time came when she would listen to others and be angry with herself for not doing what resonated with her.

How do you get to know you and do what resonates for you? Many of the tools, activities and talks are on www.Spiritualfitnessonthego.com. The following is some of the things LISAonthego did to become who she is today.

lisaonthego

ARE YOU YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF?

Motto –  When LISAonthego does what others wants she gets angry with herself and others are happy; When LISAonthego does what she wants she is at peace and others are angry with her. Lesson Learned: Others don’t stay angry and get over it

  1. Life could be so busy and overwhelming that there is little time for us. The first weekend     LISAonthego spent alone was an eye opener and now this has been life every other weekend. Who am I? What do I want? This was the beginning of learning about LISAonthego. She was scared, nervous and curious what does she do with this time? That first weekend:
  2. LISAonthego watched television, learned the shows and movies she enjoyed.
  3. Read
  4. Food shopping and cooked for herself what she wanted
  5. Called friends
  6. Played the game what is my favorite? (to learn about herself) Food, clothes, friends, activities etc.
  7. Read the A Course in Miracles lessons each night and attended group
  8. Had a therapist that LISAonthego trusted and listened to. By the way a huge impact in her life she was awesome in teaching her about LISAonthego
  9. Ces ultra – Helped LISAonthego in many ways and she still does the CES- Ultra every night (9 years later) http://www.elixa.com/shop/ces-ultra/ website lists all the benefits
  10. Learning to speak the truth from her heart, not what others wanted her to say or do. Yes LISAonthego speaks from her heart, as she perceives the truth to be for her.
  11. EFT tapping -  https://spiritualfitnessonthego.com/inspired-speakers/  eft-emotional-freedom-technique

Being your authentic self is not easy others resist and let you know it. You know when you are speaking your truth when you feel the peace within you. To this day LISAonthego still uses and does the above list. It takes time to learn who you are: be patient and understanding. Most important above all else be your best friend and surround yourself in love you and forgive yourself for everything you didn’t do. The rest will come.

Have a great day. Love, Laughter & Peace, LISAonthego

LISAonthego Impossible?

LISAonthego What is Impossible?

Impossible gives the insinuation it is not possible. It’s a negative and derogatory that no matter how you try to do something it won't work. Impossible it can't be done.

The definition of impossible: is not possible; unable to be, exist, happen, etc. (http://www.dictionary.com/browse/impossible?s=t)

Then LISAonthego likes to play games on words in our language.

Impossible is actually two words put together. IM POSSIBLE. Which gives the opposite meaning to impossible. IM POSSIBLE for LISAonthego means you could do anything and it may or may not work but it is possible.IM POSSIBLE

In truth how often do you have an idea, implement it and the results are exactly how you imagined they would be? This doesn't happen often. When we take an action to do something this domino affects other facets in our lives.

It’s like lining up dominos blocks in a neat row, same spaces apart and then you knock down the first one. The first one then sets off a series of actions it hits and knocks down the second domino block and so forth till the end. As these domino blocks are being hit and knocked down it’s like our life events from an action. From first appearances it looks impossible that the dominoes would hit and knock down the following domino blocks in sequence or that one could be a little off and take a different turn. You follow it to the end and you know what? It was possible.

When we put life into action things happen that we don’t expect and you take it one block at a time until the last one. The impossible was done and now possible with some turns and twists. This is like taking an action in your life.

We expect when the domino blocks are lined up and space apart that they will all fall in sequence. However, what if a block is not the exact size as the others or chipped or on something this could alter the hit and knock down of the dominos. Just like life.

Therefore LISAonthego feels nothing is impossible because like dominos nothing in life is aligned perfectly. Some things you don’t see appears and the domino blocks are like life it could take a different turn and make all things possible.

IM POSSIBLE for LISAonthego means moving forwards in life that she could do whatever she wants because IM POSSIBLE.

Have a great day! Love, Laughter & Peace, LISAonthego

Someone Close Dies, What to do?

Someone Close Dies, What to do?

Come read, watch or listen. Video is below the text.

LISAonthego had someone close to her past away last week unexpectedly. She received the phone call as she listened to the other person she went from numb to shock.

The ego mind reacts with the chatterbox and has a lot to say. It keeps going and going. As time goes on the thoughts continue, has us feeling guilty for not saying or doing. During this time LISAonthego said stop, cleared her thoughts, took some deep breaths and refocused.

LISAonthego then decided to go within and be proactive. What happened? Okay, the person has there own journey and choices. Yes there is always something we didn’t do or say and the what if, what if I would have called, stopped by, said something more etc. Now forgive yourself for everything you didn’t say or do this is life and the chatterbox within us. We all have the what if scenarios play in our minds and the after thoughts of what we could have done. LISAonthego had to let this go and remind herself to love herself. Every moment is perfect. Then LISAonthego decided to be proactive and try to stay clear minded.

Make a list of things that would need to be done. Who needs to be called? Where are we going? Staying? Arrangements? Etc. Keep the ego mind, chatterbox busy with chores and this helped LISAonthego to keep focused and calm.

heaven

Now for those people that will be around that don’t resonate with her. This was a task and she did her best. First LISAonthego had to understand her emotions are raw. Its like your protective shield in these times leaves you, you are standing naked and everyone could see. Isn’t this awkward and uncomfortable. This is your true, inner spirit coming out and expressing who you are in tough circumstances.

Yes, LISAonthego wasn’t always at her best and would take time for herself; she called a friend, went outside and removed herself. Its so difficult at these times feeling exposed with emotions and yet comforting having the people that matter to you be there whether that day or that week or that month.

Emotions are raw at this time and others are too. Etiquettes are nowhere to be found. People are talking material items that the person owned, feeling entitled and deserving. LISAonthego walked away, they are material things, not important. Material items could be bought in the memory of the person.

LISAonthego kept things in perspective of what is important and that is family and friends. They came together at a difficult time, to help and support each other. Let everything else go. This is where your closest family and friends come into help. The chatterbox would go and the lesson was “none of it mattered”.

LISAonthego chose a few people closest to her and would call them or they would call. We would talk the drama and stories and LISAonthego would be reminded to let it go. These people know LISAonthego well and would have her understand the drama or story and remind her to go within. LISAonthego had her peace, her peace of mind and love. Love, Laughter & Peace, LISAonthego

"PLEASE Please don't ask me if I'm over it yet. I'll never be over it. Please don't tell me that he is in a better place. He's not here with me. Please don't say at least he's not suffering. I haven't come to terms why he had to suffer at all. Please don't ask me if I feel better. Bereavement isn't a condition that clears up. Please don't tell me you know how I feel unless you lost your son. Please don't tell me,' At least you had him for so many years.'What year would you choose for your son to die? Please don't tell me god never gives us more than we can bear. Please just say you're sorry. Please just let me talk about my son. Please mention my son's name Please just let me cry."
